The third pair of pictures correspond to two versions of the dashed lines in picture (d). And the fourth pair of pictures correspond to right-going lines on the right-hand side of picture (d). All the localized structures involved in the pictures above were shown individually on page 292. Note that the spacings between structures are crucial in determining the objects they represent.
