Random initial conditions [for squaring and primes CAs]

The pictures below show the squaring and primes cellular automata starting from random initial conditions. Note that for both systems the majority of cases in their rules are not used in the specific computations for which they were constructed. Changing these cases can lead to different behavior with random initial conditions.
